MUSD launch video to promote safer schools

For The Madera Tribune

Former Madera Unified School District student trustees Frank Santos and Genesis Guillen introduce the MUSD-produced video to raise awareness about safety concerns at school.

Madera Unified School District (MUSD) students are playing a pivotal role in the district’s efforts to provide a secure learning environment by helping create a video to encourage their classmates to download the STOPit application.

The STOPit application provides an anonymous platform for students to report bullying, harassment, or other safety concerns to their schools.

On Wednesday, the student-co-produced video was shown to students across MUSD to raise awareness about the application’s importance.
