In a response to incidents in the City of Madera, the Madera Police Department partnered with California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Parole Agents for a “Zero Tolerance” parole sweep earlier this month.
The primary focus of this operation was to contact parolees within Madera and its immediate outskirts to ensure their strict compliance to the stipulations of their parole terms.
Members of the Madera Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, Detective Unit and CDC Parole (35 officers total) launched the operation.
