Madera American Little League President Pam Grewal and Madera National Little League President Chris Schoettler stand between their two fields and are excited about hosting the top Little League teams in the state when Madera hosts the NorCal State Little League Tournament, beginning July 20.

Preparations are almost set at Town and Country Park for the Little League NorCal State Championships coming to Madera on July 20.

For the first time in Madera Little League history, they, along with District 10, will be hosting the best seven teams in the region, from Oregon down to Bakersfield at the fields of Madera American and Madera National Little Leagues.

“It is a great privilege to be able host the State Tournament in Madera,” said District 10 Administrator Barry Jenkin. “The winner will represent Northern California Little League and play in the West Region tournament in San Bernardino. The winner of that tournament advances to Williamsport to complete in the Little League World Series. Both the West Region and Little World Series can be watched on ESPN.”
