Late run downs Stallions’ opener against Orosi

The Madera South Stallions football team kept its season-opening game close with the Orosi Cardinals, trailing by one early in the fourth quarter.


However, the Cardinals just wore down the Madera South defense and scored three unanswered touchdowns in a 56-33 victory Friday night.


The Cardinals didn’t punt all night and scored on eight of their 11 possessions. The other three possession ended in turnovers.
