Choose your favorite pasta, such as linguine, spaghetti or penne, to serve with a delicious clam sauce.
The day before writing this was my mom’s 96th birthday. She wanted to go out for some clams and linguine, her favorite dish to order in a restaurant. So, that’s what we did.
Her birthday celebration caught like wildfire in the dining area, with strangers wishing her a happy birthday and people generally being amazed at how well she looked and how she still manages to live in her own home, by herself. I ordered the linguine with clams, too, and it was a treat to enjoy a meal that I did not have to shop for, prepare and cook by myself. Or do any of the cleanup duties.
I got to thinking about how much I like just about anything made with clams as a main ingredient. I went on a browsing spree through my recipe files and settled on a few I thought you might enjoy.
