Round Table wins quick for AAA City Championship

Madera National’s Round Table show off their rings after capturing the Madera AAA City Championship on Saturday after a 15-0 victory over Madera American’s Mountain Valley Fire Protection.
Madera National Little League AAA Champion, Round Table, executed the perfect game plan for a 15-0 victory over Madera American Little League AAA Champion, Mountain Valley Fire Protection, in Saturday’s City Championship Little League game.
In AAA, teams can score a maximum of five runs per inning until the sixth inning. There is also a run-rule of 15 runs after three innings.
Round Table scored its maximum amount of runs to finish the City Championship game in just three innings.
Zavier Villegas threw two innings and Beau Morris threw an inning of no-hit ball. The only Mountain Valley base runner was a lead-off walk by Ezikiel Herrera.
After that, Villegas and Morris struck out the next nine batters to end the game.
All 12 Round Table batters accounted at least a run in the game. Four different batters scored two runs and four had two hits. Villegas and Jayden Ramirez hit doubles in the win.
Mountain Valley had trouble finding the plate with nine walks over three innings. Mountain Valley also committed five errors that led to nine unearned runs.
Villegas started the game by getting hit by the first pitch of the game. He advanced to third on a Bobby Chavez single.
A passed ball allowed Villegas to score. After Morris walked, a throwing error allowed Chavez to score with Morris advancing to third. Dario Hernandez singled to center to drive in Morris.
Ramirez singled to right-center to put two on. After a double steal, Levi Perez walked to load the bases. Abel Lua and Airik Estrada drew bases loaded walks for a five-run first inning.
In the second, after a strikeout, Owen Coronado drew a four-pitch walk. Xavier Benavidez reached on an error. After a wild pitch, Coronado tried to score on a wild pitch, but was tagged out at the plate. Camacho walked, and Villegas doubled home Benavidez.
Chavez singled up the middle to drive in Camacho. Morris singled to right to score Chavez and Villegas. Hernandez singled to center to advance Morris to third. Morris came in to score on an error for the fifth run of the inning.
In the third, Ramirez led off with a double to right-center. He came in to score two wild pitches later.
Perez drew another walk, and Lua reached on an error. After a strikeout, Alexander McCaskill reached on an error as Perez scored. Coronado drew his second walk, and Benavidez was hit by a pitch to force in Lua.
Camacho walked while McCaskill scored. Villegas ended the game with a single to right as Coronado scored the game-ending run for a 15-0 victory.
