V-Force competes at Nationals

V-Force Elite Gymnastics sent six gymnasts to the National Gymnastic Association National Championships last week. Clockwise from top left are Caeden Lanteigne, Austen Kerr, William Knoetgen, Luke Garner, Cecil Marquez and Kyper Perry.

V-Force Elite Gymnastics sent a boys team to the National Gymnastic Association National Championship in Orlando, Florida last weekend.


The team began its competition season in January, and competed in eight competitions. The Nationals will be the ninth meet. V-Force will have competitors from Level 1 to Level 7.


Caeden Lanteigne


Age: 15. Level: 5.


“Caeden has a lot of accomplishments in his short time with V-Force. He holds All Around championships for both State and Regional Championships,” said coach Shawn Castrovillari.


Austen Kerr


Age: 12. Level: 2.


Kerr was the Vault champion at the regional championship.


Kyper Perry


Age: 9. Level 2.


“Kyper has been the All Around Champion at every competition he has attended since he began his gymnastics journey. This includes being the All Around Champion at State and Regional Championships,” Castrovillari said.


William Knoetgen


Age: 13. Level: 2.


He was the Floor and Parallel Bars champion at the regional championships.


Luke Garner


Age: 8. Level 1.


Garner won the Parallel Bar title at the State Championship, and won the Vault championship at Regionals.


Cecil Marquez


Age: 10. Level 3


“Cecil is completing his 3rd year of competitive gymnastics with V-Force. He juggles this along with competitive soccer,” Castrovillari said.
