Coyotes swept to end volleyball season

The Madera Coyotes girls volleyball team pulled off an upset victory in the first round of the Div. III Central Section playoffs.
Their reward was a home match against Reedley, a team that defeated the Coyotes in five earlier in the season. The 12th seeded Coyotes swept no. 5 seed Hanford to earn a quarterfinal match.
No. 13 Reedley won a five-set thriller at Minarets in the first round.
