The Madera Coyotes football team gather with the coveted Stadium Road Showdown Bandsaw after an 84-13 victory over Madera on Friday. Madera has won the Bandsaw 15 out of the 18 Stadium Road Showdowns.

The Madera Coyotes football team scored early and often to record the biggest win in the 18-year history of the Stadium Road Showdown with an 84-13 victory over the Madera South Stallions.

The Coyotes scored 84 points for the second time in the history of Coyote football, and it’s the second-highest total in school history (Madera defeated Dos Palos in 1923, 87-6, and Merced, 84-0 in 1960).

The Coyotes scored seven rushing touchdowns, four passing touchdowns and two kick return touchdowns to remain undefeated four games into the season. They gained 565 yards of total offense, including 374 on the ground. The Coyotes averaged almost 12 yards per play, and 11 yards per rush.
