After losing to the Edison Tigers in the first round of the County/Metro Athletic Conference, the Madera Coyotes boys basketball team was determined not to let that happen again.
The Tigers outscored Madera 19-6 in the fourth quarter for a 50-47 win on January 13.
This time, the Coyotes made sure the game was in hand before the fourth. Madera outscored Edison 43-25 in the second and third quarters to take a 22-point lead into the fourth of a 67-48 win Thursday evening.
