More than 40 authors set up tables to display and sell their books during the Heart of California Book Faire on Saturday.
It was a hot day in August, but things were really hopping for the Heart of California Book Faire at Madera United Methodist Church.
The Saturday event was hosted by the Friends of the Madera County Library, and was held inside, while more than 40 Central Valley authors gathered to display and sell their books during the event.
A member of the Friends’ group, Roh Morgon, who is a local author and member of Central Valley Fiction Writers, organized the event with the help of other volunteers from the Friends’ group.
