Cedar Creek honors James Todd’s long life

James Todd, 92, was born in Peking, China, of American parents. He has been a resident at Cedar Creek for 10 months, and accepted the invitation to share the story of his life on January 9.

 

James Todd has been a resident at Cedar Creek for 10 months, and he has settled in and made this little retirement community his home. He said, “I am a ‘newby’ here, but I enjoy it very well, and I love the people here. It’s like family.”


Kaprai Mua, Resident Lifestyle Director at Cedar Creek, got to know Mr. Todd and was impressed by him and his life. She asked him to share his story with the other residents, and she also invited The Madera Tribune to come and hear about his life.


About 20 residents gathered to hear Todd’s presentation on January 9 in the activities room. As Mua introduced Mr. Todd, she said, “Welcome to Mr. Todd, his life, his cadence, the story of Mr. Jim Todd.
