Basketball and soccer prepares for playoffs

The basketball and soccer season ended Wednesday, and the Central Section playoffs begin Friday with rare playoff games on Saturday.
The Madera South boys basketball team and the Matilda Torres girls soccer team earned No. 2 seeds in its respective divisions, and the Torres girls basketball team also received a No. 3 seed.
All games and matches will begin at 6 p.m. unless another time agreed upon by both schools.
