An old fashioned Derringer handgun was found on a suspect who was stopped Wednesday. The suspect was arrested for meth possession and illegal possession of a firearm.
Â
Officer Bradley Arnold conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sharon Boulevard, and Country Club Drive early Wednesday morning.Â
During the stop, Arnold contacted Joshua Buentello, and discovered he was concealing a black powder derringer inside his waistband.
While these types of firearms may appear antique, they are still classified as firearms under the law. Although firearms are generally legal to possess inside your home, California requires a concealed weapons permit to carry one in the manner that Buentello had it concealed.
