Harvest Classic to honor Bealessio tonight
The 45th annual Harvest Classic, which began Friday and continues tonight, features a full line-up of racing and pulling action.
Tonight is dedicated to Ruth Bealessio. She was an icon of the Madera Speedway and her friends and racing family thought it would be appropriate to honor her at the Harvest Classic, which is the longest running event in the history of the speedway.
Friday featured the Madera Late Models, F4’s, MST, Toyota Sedans, USAC HPD Midgets and Modified Truck Pulls, sponsored by Colorfast Industries.
Tonight is the 45th annual Harvest Classic, presented by Midland Tractor and John Deere. The Western Winged Super Sprint Series, BCRA Midgets, USAC HPD Midgets, Race No. 7 of the Super Hobby Stock Series 50 laps, NCMA Sprints, CSS/360 Super Modifieds, Legends of Kearney Bowl, California Hard Tops, plus the Blown, injected multi-engine pulling tractors.
Adult tickets for tonight are $20, seniors and military are $17, youth ages 6-12 are $10 and kids 5 and under are free.
