Arcia's triple leads Reno to 13-6 win over Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Oswaldo Arcia hit a three-run triple in the third inning, leading the Reno Aces to a 13-6 win over the Fresno Grizzlies on Thursday.
The triple by Arcia came in the midst of a five-run inning and gave the Aces a 7-5 lead. Later in the inning, Kristopher Negron hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Arcia.
The Aces later added three runs in the sixth and two in the eighth to put the game out of reach. Starter Braden Shipley (1-0) got the win while Keegan Yuhl (0-1) took the loss in relief in the Pacific Coast League game.
Derek Fisher homered and singled, scoring two runs for the Grizzlies.
