MSHS student arrested for firearm possession
A Madera South High School student was taken into custody after it was discovered the student was in possession of a stolen firearm. MSHS resource officers responded to the report of the student with a firearm on campus. The school’s security identified the student. For The Madera Tribune Jorge Gil. Jorge Gil, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, died on Jan. 25, 2023, in Madera, Ca., at the age of 32. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Jorge was born on Sept. 5, 1990. Jorge is survived by his wife Karissa, and his two beloved sons, Jeremy and Nathaniel. City manager contracts sewer repair
