World Champions recognized by Council

Members of the Madera City Council gave multiple proclamations at its last meeting. 

Among the recipients were the MadTown Robotics Team, as well as Madera’s own Fire and Police Departments, and Council members received news that construction of the anticipated James Taubert Park is delayed.

People filled the seats and lined the walls of the Madera City Council chambers as they waited their turn to be recognized by the Council on May 7. The Council gave seven proclamations, recognizing the accomplishments of its residents, raising awareness to several causes, and honoring those who keep us safe as we go about our days.
