Vehicle kills pedestrian

Madera Police Department officer responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision at the intersection of B Street and Yosemite Avenue on Tuesday at about 8:30 p.m.

Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital. However, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries sustained during the collision. 

The involved driver and witnesses stayed on scene and provided officers with statements.
