OAKHURST — As summer begins, and the campgrounds open up for the season, Yosemite National Park’s Peak-Hours Reservations will be required daily from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. now through August 15, and August 30 through September 1.
Summer reservations are still available, and can be made on Recreation.gov. If there are any sold-out days, no worries, additional reservations will become available seven days prior to the entry date, allowing for greater flexibility in planning a national park vacation.
For visitors seeking a more immersive experience in Yosemite, local tour operators are ready to handle the driving, parking, and reservations while visitors sit back and enjoy the narrated tour.
