With the league season coming up, the Matilda Torres Toros girls volleyball team is still trying to find its identity.

That struggle showed in a three-set loss to the Roosevelt Rough Riders in the North Yosemite League opener on Tuesday. The Rough Riders outscored the Toros 75-40 in the three sets.

The Toros only put down 11 kills in the three-set sweep. J’Lynn Mitchell led the team with four.
