A shots fired incident led the Madera Police Department to find firearms and ammunition, including an AR-15 style rifle. The suspect was armed with the rifle and was taken into custody without incident.
The Madera Police Department received a report of gunshots fired in the 1700 block of Storey Road on Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to the scene and encountered Rodrigo Robles, 44, who was armed with an AR-15-style rifle. After several de-escalation attempts, Rodrigo was taken into custody without incident.
A search warrant was later executed at Rodrigo’s residence, where additional firearms, a large cache of ammunition, and narcotics were discovered.
