Torres’ Sabrina Cerrillo drives in for two of her team-high 10 points in Wednesday’s loss to Fresno.
After almost three weeks without a game, the Matilda Torres Toros couldn’t shake off the rust in a 37-23 loss to the Fresno Warriors on Wednesday.
The Toros lost to Bakersfield Chrsitian on December 22 and didn’t play again until Tuesday’s 39-31 victory over Parlier.
The rust still showed Wednesday. The Toros shot just 13 percent (6-of-45) from the field. They made more free throws than they did field goals (9-6).
