Tire business destroyed by fire

Cal Fire/Madera City Fire Department responded to a debris fire in an alley near 200 N. D Street.
Crews arrived within four minutes of the alarm that the fire involved the extra tires of a tire storage building, along with a portion of the approximate 1,000 square foot building, Solis Tire Services.
Crews took action suppressing the fire and called for additional resources. Six engines, three each from Madera City and Madera County fire departments, was involved, as well as a support unit, all in cooperation with Cal Fire responded to the incident. Seventeen firefighters and two support members responded to the call.
