Theft leads to firearms arrest

The Madera Police Department responded to a beer theft at Walmart that led to the suspect producing a firearm.
When officers responded, it was learned the suspect took a 12-pack of bear without paying. As an employee tried to verify that the suspect purchased the beer, the suspect displayed a firearm.
After the incident, the suspect fled Walmart.
