The Madera South Stallions girls basketball took care of business to advance to the semifinals of the Cen-Cal Holiday Tournament at Matilda Torres High School.
The Stallions battled to a hard-fought 36-23 victory over Yosemite in the play-in game on Friday. They followed that up with a 49-12 victory over Woodlake to advance to Friday’s semifinals where they will face Mendota at 7:30 p.m.

The Stallions led the game throughout, but the Badgers still kept the game within reach.
