Stallion keeps Madera running tradition at CSU Stanislaus

With her family watching, Madera South’s Valorie Jimenez makes her signing to CSU Stanilaus official. She will run cross country and track.

When Madera South cross country and track runner Valorie Jimenez is competing, she takes on a totally different mindset. She is out to run, and to run fast. 

Jimenez runs with ferocity and will take her and her huge shades with her to CSU Stanislaus to join their track and cross country team. 

“I like cross country more, for sure. I like the long distance and not running in circles,” she said.
