Officers from the California Highway Patrol, Madera Area Office, responded to a crash of a solo vehicle that went through a fence and into a pasture Sunday at about 5 p.m.
Preliminary investigation indicates a 74-year-old male from Friant was driving a silver 2005 Subaru Baja, northbound on Road 211, north of Rolling Oaks Drive.
A witness observed the Subaru traveling at a slow speed and drifting toward the east shoulder. The Subaru left the roadway and drove through a fence before coming to rest in an open pasture.
