Police investigating shooting death

Madera Police Department officers responded to a call in the area of Country Club Drive and Clark Street for a shooting victim.

Life-saving measures were attempted by EMS, but the male victim succumbed to his injuries Thursday evening. Madera Police Department is not releasing the victim’s identity pending family notification.

”We are working diligently, following all leads and canvasing the area for additional evidence. If you have any information regarding this incident, contact MPD at 675-4220,” said a statement from MPD.
