This past March, the Madera Police Department hosted a Town Hall Meeting at Madera South High School.

During the meeting, it gave the PD a chance to interact and speak with the community, share ideas, and listen to voiced concerns related to various topics including roadway safety and school zones.

Madera PD is pleased to announce a few of these projects have been completed by our partners at the City of Madera Public Works Department. Those projects include adding green arrow traffic signals for Ellis Street traffic at the intersection with Country Club Drive, and adding an additional dedicated crosswalk in front of Matilda Torres School at the intersection of Tanforan Drive and Country Club Drive.
