MCSO hosts promotion and awards ceremony

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office hosts a Swearing-in Promotions and Awards Ceremony last week at Matilda Torres High School. Twelve MCSO employees stand together after receiving acknowledgement for their promotion or new hire.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office hosted its biannual Swearing-in, Promotions and Awards Ceremony last week at Matilda Torres High School’s Cafeteria. 


The MCSO announced the promotion of five deputies and seven new hires at Thursday’s ceremony. 


“Ceremonies like this mark significant milestones in our careers, and your presence makes this occasion even more meaningful,” Sheriff Tyson Pogue told the attendees. “We are grateful to have you join us in celebrating these important moments.”
