California Highway Patrol officers look at a Toyota RAV4 that was involved in a rollover crash after the driver fell asleep at the wheel, and over-corrected, causing the rollover.
On Wednesday, at 12:45 p.m, the Merced Communications Center received a call of a solo vehicle roll-over crash with one party ejected.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol, Madera Area Office, responded to the solo vehicle rollover crash on State Route 145.
During the investigation, it was determined an 88-year-old female from Chowchilla, was driving a gray 2018 Toyota RAV4 westbound on State Route 145, east of Road 36 1/2.
