Madera Unified to hold community resource fair

Madera Unified’s Migrant Education Program will host a Cesar Chavez Educational and Community Resource Fair on Thursday, from 4-6:30 p.m. at Madera High School. This event is open to all Madera Unified families.


There will be more than 40 community agencies and colleges in attendance, including Madera Community College, Fresno State, and UC Merced. They will have a booth at the event alongside school district resources and clubs. The event will also have a special guest speakers, Dr. Reyna, President of Madera Community College and Madera Unified School District Area Assistant Superintendent Oracio Rodriguez.


In addition, 100 migrant students who have recently participated in a separate weekend event, Migrant Math Saturday Academy, will exhibit their projects and receive a certificate of participation from the academy.
