The annual Madera District Fair returns September 10-13, with its theme, “All American Party,” joining the nationwide 250th celebration of America in a way that feels true to home through community, family, and shared experience.
Grounded in tradition and open to all, the Madera Fair continues its commitment to family values with free gate admission on opening day and kids 12 and under free every day, made possible by Valley Children’s Healthcare.
Guests can also take advantage of a variety of pre-sale savings and enjoy the highly anticipated Table Mountain Concert Series, free with paid fair admission and presented by Estrella Jalisco.
This year, fair staff is placing a strong focus on community engagement, inviting residents to help tell the American story as it’s lived right here in Madera County.
Through the All American Story Campaign, the public is encouraged to submit real stories that reflect everyday life, resilience, and pride, including All American Hero, honoring veterans and active-duty military; All American Dream, sharing personal journeys and the pursuit of opportunity; and All American Ag, celebrating agriculture, generational farming, and the role of feeding America.
Selected stories will be featured during the Fair, offering fairgoers a chance to connect with the people and experiences that shape our community and contribute to the broader story of America.
“As we celebrate 250 years of our nation, this year’s Fair is about recognizing the freedoms we enjoy and the generations who made them possible,” said CEO Barbara Leach. “We’re proud to create a space where our whole community can come together, reflect on our shared story, and celebrate in a way that feels authentic to who we are here in Madera County.”
The 2026 Fair will also feature a lineup of interactive and family-friendly activities, including All American contests and savings opportunities throughout the event, the debut of the All-American Lemonade Contest highlighting creativity on a classic fair favorite, and a community “Patriotic Bike Parade,” inspired by the 250th celebration of America, open to all ages.
All the traditional competitions, blue ribbons, livestock shows, ground acts, fair food and more will be in store with a patriotic twist.
At its heart, the “All American Party” is a heartfelt celebration of what matters most — the everyday moments, the pursuit of happiness, and the freedom to come together. It reflects the spirit of community, tradition, and connection that continues to define the Madera Fair.
