Madera Acres fire displaces family

A family of four were displaced after a fire destroyed about half of their home last week.Â
Cal Fire Madera County firefighters arrived to find a house at the corner of Melba and Larwood drive already on fire with the roof engulfed at about 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Immediately, an additional water tender was requested and PG&E isolated the power. Cal Fire limited the damage to just the house, and saved 50 percent of the home.
