Life is like a bowl of berries

All of us are influenced by times and our experiences. Our likes and dislikes become part of who we are, and these preferences affect how we govern our lives. 

Each day we learn something new, but each moment brings choices and incidents that could alter our lives ever so slightly, or radically. 

When I was about ten years old, my family went out picking berries one day. We had a wonderful time, and as we picked those luscious berries, I ate as many berries as I collected.
