Letters: We can speak loudly at the voter’s booth

I certainly hope all of you had a chance to watch President Trump’s recent State of The Union Address. He did a great job of spelling out the positive things that are happening in our country.

We’ve made a tremendous amount of progress recovering from the previous administration’s attempt at demolishing America and destroying the American way of life. However, we do still have a long way to go, and with a little cooperation from members of Congress, we can achieve the goal of once again being the strongest and greatest country in the world. 

A few things from the speech really stuck out. Number one is the Democrat members of Congress are embarrassment to our country. They are certainly not representative of the members of the right and hopefully not those Democrat voters who are great and patriotic Americans that are being led astray by a radical left wing faction that has taken over the party. Democrat voters, many who I consider to be friends, can’t be happy with the direction they are being taken.
