Ginger takes the stage

You don’t have to wait for winter holidays to enjoy some gingerbread cake.
I recently tried a new bar recipe, because my husband loves ginger and dried apricots, which the recipe called for. I will include it here, since it turned out to be very good.
Luckily, ginger is available in many forms, as in fresh, powdered and candied. This versatility allows us to use it in more ways than we can count. (Well, okay, if somebody really wanted to tally it all up, there is probably a number, but who would be that obsessive?)
I recently shared a recipe for a beverage called ginger beer, so I won’t repeat it so soon. But I have lots of other recipes that use ginger, so let’s get right to a few of them.
