A Toyota Corolla sits after it ran under a trailer pulled by a Volvo in a crash early Wednesday morning. The driver of the Corolla and a passenger suffered major injuries as a result of the accident.

California Highway Patrol Madera officers responded to a crash involving two vehicles, at the intersection of Avenue 25 and Road 9 on Wednesday at about 4:30 a.m.
A 35-year-old man from Manteca, was driving a gray 2020 Volvo, pulling an enclosed trailer, traveling northbound on Road 9, approaching the intersection at Avenue 25. Â
A 38-year-old woman from El Nido, was driving a gray Toyota Corolla, eastbound on Avenue 25, approaching Road 9.Â
