Copper wire thieves caught

Madera County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported copper wire theft in progress involving agricultural equipment. 

Local farmers on scene interrupted the theft and immediately contacted MCSO on January 5. 

The farmers prevented the suspects’ vehicle from leaving before deputies arrived.
