Cook water tower to undergo renovation

The Madera City Council gave four proclamations, listened to presentations given by the Children and Youth in Transition program, DKS associates about “Measure T,” a performance summary for the 2022-2023 community block grant and adopted a resolution to provide funding needed to renovate Cook water tower during regular meeting on October 4.


The Council took time to recognize October 6, as Indigenous People’s Day, and gave proclamations identifying October as a month in which we recognize and promote awareness for Breast Cancer, Disabilities, and Domestic Violence.


Oralia Maceda, Program Director of Centro Binacional para el Desarrollo Indigena Oaxaqueño was present to receive the proclamation in recognition of the indigenous people and the valuable contributions made which have helped shape the community.
