Members of the Madera South baseball team converge on Noah Casares (white helmet) after his grounder drove in the game-winning run Friday against Roosevelt.

The Madera South Stallions baseball team seemed to have its game with the Roosevelt Rough Riders in hand with a 7-1 lead into the sixth inning, but a triple play led to a walk-off victory.

The Rough Riders kept battling. They scored six runs in the final two inning before a triple play got the Stallions out of the inning and walked it off in the bottom of the inning Friday at Eddie Chapa Field.

The Rough Riders had the Stallions on the ropes with two on and nobody out in the seventh with the score tied at seven.
