FRESNO — The City squad had to hold off late threats from the County to record a 5-4 victory in the 54th annual City/County All-Star Baseball game at Chukchansi Park.

The County squad cut the lead to one with two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to get the game close.

Liberty’s Dylan Whiteman and Madera’s Frankie Espejo each tossed two scoreless innings to help the County squad stay close.
