City begins Movies in the Park

The City of Madera began Movies in the Park last week with the showing of Super Mario Bros.

The City will show movies for the next eight weeks with Disney’s Turning Red on Friday’s schedule at the Lions Town and Country Park Amphitheater.

The City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department received a sizable grant from PG&E, which helped pay for the licensing of the movie, according to Nicki Rincon, Recreation/Community Programs Coordinator.
