Busy weekend for Madera Police

Madera Police Officer Phillip Thomas puts the handcuffs on Kyle Cevasco, who was found to be wearing body armor and a concealed gun Saturday night.

 

Madera Police Officer Phillip Thomas contacted Kyle Cevasco near Gateway Dr. and 4th St. with some suspicion late Saturday night.


Cevasco was found be wearing body armor and concealing a loaded 9mm Glock style “ghost” gun in his waistband. He is a documented gang member, a convicted felon, and prohibited from possessing such items. 


Cevasco was arrested and booked at Madera County Jail on several charges related to a felon in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and body armor.
