Bomb scare at Save Mart

The Madera Police Department received a call early Wednesday morning about a pipe bomb located in Save Mart.

“We received the call at approximately 9:19 a.m. regarding a phoned in threat of a pipe bomb somewhere in the store,” said Madera Police Department’s Matt McCombs in a statement.

The store already began the evacuation process and Madera PD started advising surrounding businesses upon arriving.
