Madera County Sheriff's Log through Jan. 20
The Madera County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents. Jan. 15
6:59 p.m. — Deputy was dispatched to a residence located within the 45000 block of Snow Flake Lane in Ahwahnee because of a report of a possibly suicidal female juvenile. During the investigation deputy determined the female juvenile was a danger to herself due to her mental condition. She was placed on a 5150 hold and transported to a hospital by ambulance for evaluation and or treatment.
10:48 p.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in the town of Coarsegold regarding a report of a male subject with a forged California Driver’s license. Upon arrival an investigation ensued and evidence was collected. Case forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office for review and charges. The case was closed. Jan. 16
11:53 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Road 228 in North Fork regarding juveniles eating edible marijuana at school. It was discovered the juveniles had obtained the edibles from home. Upon arriving at the home an apparatus used for making marijuana oil via chemical extraction was found in the area accessible to children. The home was eventually searched with parents’ consent and more narcotics were found. Suspects were arrested and booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections. The three children of the mother were placed in the care of Child Protective Services.
1:39 p.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Road 415 in Coarsegold regarding a possible hacking into a computer and attempting to withdraw funds from a checking account. A statement was collected, report written and forwarded to Madera County Sheriff’s Office Detectives for further investigation. Jan. 18
11:39 a.m. — Deputy took a report from a resident of the 35000 block of Avenue 13 ½ regarding stalking. Report was taken and will be forwarded to detectives.
3:16 p.m. — Deputy responded to an agricultural field near the intersection of Road 38 and Avenue 12 in Madera regarding theft of wire from a well pump. Report was forwarded to detectives.
3:32 p.m. — Deputies were dispatched to the 53000 block of Hidden Meadow Road in North Fork regarding shots fired and a possible injured person. An investigation was conducted and determined that the reporting party had been assaulted during a verbal argument. The suspect was gone on arrival. The case will be forwarded to District Attorney’s Office to file charges. Jan 20
5:13 p.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Wells road in Coarsegold regarding a report of a juvenile hitting her mother and father and breaking items in the residence. Subject did not qualify for a 72 hold. A report was written.
