Madera County sheriff's log for Nov. 21-23
The Madera County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following reports from Nov. 21 through 23.
Nov. 21 10:00 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the 4000 block of Highway 41 in Oakhurst regarding vandalism.
7:04 p.m. — Deputy was dispatched to a home in the 40000 block of Road 425 Oakhurst regarding a violation of a domestic restraining order and vandalism with damage estimated to be over $400. Case to be forwarded to District Attorney’s Office for filing of related charges
Nov. 22 4:12 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the Yosemite Southgate hotel located within the 40000 block of SR-41 in Oakhurst regarding a report of a dog bite. The incident occurred in front of the Denny’s Restaurant near the hotel.
3:30 p.m. — While deputy was checking the Fresno Riverbed in the area of Laguna and Road 28 ½ in Madera, a subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant. Subject was booked at Madera County jail.
Nov. 23 7:38 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the area of Road 29 and Santa Fe Drive in Madera regarding a report of an animal carcass in the area.
10:27 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Highway 49 in Oakhurst regarding marijuana that was attempted to be shipped via UPS. A report was taken and evidence collected. Case forwarded to detectives for follow-up.
Nov. 24 Deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Glacier Lane in Coarsegold regarding a civil/trespass issue. Two subjects had outstanding arrest warrants. One was cited and the other was booked into jail.
Nov. 25 5:27 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Beechwood Drive in Oakhurst for a public health call. A protective hold was placed. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation by mental health professional.
11:26 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of North Lake in Madera regarding a female claiming sexual assault. After investigating the incident it does not appear that a sexual assault occurred. The case was closed.
12:56 a.m. — Deputy took a telephone report from a resident of the 16000 block of Road 37 in Madera regarding possible stolen mail. No suspect information at this time; case closed.
1:33 p.m. — Deputies responded to the area of the 49000 block of Pierce Drive in Oakhurst regarding a theft of medications. A report was taken and closed due to lack of evidentiary leads.
Nov. 26.
12:19 — Deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in Coarsegold regarding a report of threats. During contact with the suspect he was found to be in possession of a meth pipe. A report taken evidence obtained and charges to be filed wit the Madera County District Attorney’s Office.
