Madera Center bookstore open extra hours

Students at the Madera Community College Center have a one-time chance to buy books and other supplies during a special Saturday opening of the center’s bookstore from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

“Students taking Saturday classes are especially encouraged to take advantage of these additional hours in the bookstore,” said Leah Unruh of Reedley College. “This is the only Saturday the bookstore will be open.”

This week the Madera Center bookstore is open weekdays 7:45 a.m. to 
8 p.m. and Saturday 
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. After this week, the bookstore will return to its normal hours of Monday through Thursday 
7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Classes at the Madera Community College Center began Monday. Students can still register for the first three weeks of the semester. Students may also register for the second session of short-term classes that begin the week of Oct. 16 and end the week of Dec. 15.
