As a physician in emergency rooms and a surgeon, I have been on the front line of gun violence. Shooting, maiming and killing have become too easy.

I live on Granada (Drive)between the Fresno River and Howard Road. I am being visited by raccoon(s) fairly often. One walked up to the sliding glass door on the patio tonight; a female I think.
My deepest sympathy to all affected by the shootings in the shopping mall and the Connecticut elementary school.
